  We walked in to shop for a new phone plan based on the employee discount I receive. The Verizon employee told us we did not qualify for the plan or discount (she did not look up the information to confirm this). She also quoted us the wrong price for unlimited data service (based on the current promotions Verizon is running). On the plus side, AT&T is close by so we were able to walk next door and get a better plan. Moral of the story, educate your employees on your promotions and the discounts you offer. She could have at least looked it up before blowing us off.

  I walked in as an AT&T customer who was ready to switch plans to Verizon, mostly because of Google Pixel 2 phone and some recent dissatisfaction with my AT&T plan. The salesperson essentially explained that the phone would cost me more purchasing it through Verizon with a plan than buying directly from Google. When I asked specific questions such as "What would be the benefits to me in switching from AT&T to Verizon?" He was unable to give me a concrete answer. I expected information on plans, connectivity, etc. He was unable to say anything to me other than, "We have the best network in the field" Essentially, giving me no more information than a commercial would. I walked out. At this point, will be purchasing the phone from Google and connecting to my current AT&T plan. Entering the Verizon store was a waste of my time.
